Rapdon Joins Peter Obi in Thanking Nigerian Youth for Post Election Tolerance
Written by Christopher Odiley on 3rd March 2023
The Presidential election of 2023 is nothing but a watershed in the history of Democracy in Africa. Even as the anticipation built prior to the election date on 25th of February 2023. The hopes were high, and most Nigerians were all routing for a brand-new electoral process that could generate the all-new-Nigeria they were all hoping for.
Even as the election date came and gone, there were the frustrations and angers vented in some quarters or per se among the larger population of the Nigerian citizenry that had thought the opposition party lead by the most popular presidential candidate Nigeria has ever had since the time of Abiola, which is Peter Obi of the Labour Party, would have awarded victory as they deemed it correct.
In the light of all insinuations and assumptions, the elections came and gone, and Nigerians been as patriotic as there are, had taken the initiative to abide by the law and do whatever it takes to avoid anything that can spark social unrest which in-most cases always generates to catastrophic experiences.
Taking the above into account and banking on the positive energy of Nigerians and their willingness to keep the peace and maintain a cohesive and progressive country, this is why Rapdon has join the amiable Peter Obi, in sending a special shoutout to the Nigerian Youths in general.
The musician who feels he has the obligation of using his art to create positive energies that can drive positive change in the society, has also thank Mr. Peter Obi, especially for his clear-cut leadership style that is a departure from the norm of the so-called political elites in Nigeria.
This is how Rapdon explained the reason for his shoutout to Nigerians on the occasion of the conclusion of the country’s presidential election process.
We are all winners.
He added.
Rapdon been a conscious rapper with messages of socio-political and social-economic change that can better the world at large. Agree with Mr. Peter Obi that, we “Labour Party” WON the election.
