Some will organize these battles for the fun of it whilst others organize these battles for specific music business agendas. But the one common thing among every rap battle is that of providing a platform for young talents. Whether it’s for fun, or fun business, or for any other purpose for that matter. The Morgeez Rap Battle Royale will not be your usual tug-of-war rap music competition of insane curses and ripples. When we conceived and designed this competition, we had specially considered a more decent approach with a clear indication of how Rap music can be steered to accommodate a broader audience similar to pop music.
What are the aims of the competition?
The Morgeez Rap Battle Royale Competition is a well-thought-through music program that has its goal set on improving the career of young rappers.
This approach has a premium consideration for Talent development. Our main aim is to use this competition as a platform where young rappers can have access to mentorships, and be guided to improve key elements of their music career as it relates to their performances, writings, and more.
What do we hope to achieve at the Morgeez Rap Battle Royale competition?
Rap music is one of the musical genres that has taken over the world and heavily attracted to a more youthful audience. Taking this into perspective, this musical genre has the most influence on youth culture. Hence, at Morgeez Records, we see this competition as a go-to platform where the young musicians can have access and opportunities to compete, learn and improve.
Our key target goal is to help create a futuristic platform for improvements in the Rap music or hip hop music scene in general.
What’s the vision of the Morgeez Rap Battle Royale competition?
We all know that there’s nothing better than consistency in our endeavors as humans. Hence, the Morgeez Rap Battle competition is built with a more consistent approach just like these other active sports. This will be the yardstick for which many talents will be, developed and discovered in circles of participatory time frames.
Therefore, we are hoping to set the bars higher with an even more appealing standard to a broader audience in the genre of Rap music. This is the mindset that we will be generating within the Rap music culture so that in the long run, more quality music can be created by well developed young musicians who will respect and treat their career with the utmost professionalism it deserves.
By and large, there will be more quality in the music, more knowledgeable musicians, infrastructure built for consistent Talent development, and most of all a bigger and better Rap music industry.
