The song now plays right at the top of the evergreen chart toppers as it joins the Boyz II Men’s gigantic track “End of the Road”, also in the pack of the history making chart toppers like  Brandy and Monica’s “The Boy Is Mine” at the 13-week mark.

The debut single of Lil Nas X, “Old Town Road with Billy Cyrus, still runs the game of chart on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Having spent 13 straight weeks on top of the Billboard Hot 100, Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus’ “Old Town Road” officially holds the title for the longest-reigning hip-hop song in history.

So, history for now, now has it that, Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road” has taken to the top of the billboard hot 100 chart for 13th week beating the other 11th songs that had made it to the to singles longest reign in the chart’s six-decades of existence.

Report now has it that if Nas X and Cyrus keep the momentum going for another four weeks, the single will be the longest-leading Hot 100 entry in history. This is a monumental achievement of a song that literally went viral before making it to the mainstream of things in the music scene.
