Is TRIP Gunning for the Kill at the Morgeez Rap Battle Royale?

His name is TRIP and no sooner than later, this easy flowing rapper and trapper who is a revelation at the Morgeez Rap Battle Royale will be a household name. TRIP has the tone that sets him apart from the so many trap music genre artists and his unique sound and style will be his weapon as he hopes to scoop the whole thing at the Rap Battle and cement his spot as the N0.1 Contender.
TRIP who was born in Hillbrow, Johannesburg, South Africa is also a student at UJ (University of Johannesburg) studying engineering. TRIP has seen himself as the “rapper with the right bars” to dominate and conquer in the Morgeez Rap Battle Royale competition.
TRIP who claims that “rappers ain’t that real” these days has issued an open challenge to all the other rappers even beyond the rap battle to hold their own aspect of realness in the game “cus there ain’t not much truth out here anymore” he added. Hence the name: T.R.I.P, meaning “Truth Rest in Peace”.
The rapper who positioned himself as a cool dude of trap music apparently has no interest in confrontational lyrical contents but warned that
“ain’t no rapper beef with me, cuz amo chop ’em off if they cross the lines”.

With strongly-worded statements like that, even competitions have got their stomachs rumbling in fear.
As the Morgeez Rap Battle Royale opens up its first sets of real-time contest and battles on the 13th of Feb having passed through the prelim stage last week, the 6th of Feb, one thing that is very clear now is that contestants have been vetted and tested, the coast is cleared, the ground is prepared and the battle lines have been totally drawn. Now the question is:
which one of them, rappers got the juicy package to run this show, dominate, slay the whole thing and scoop the deal?

Now, our fingers are crossed and with strong personalities like TRIP in the game, one could only hope for the best. If the attitude of some of the contestants are anything to measure with, the Morgeez Rap Battle Royale will surely glide over competitors. Let’s watch as it all unfolds.
